It is often said that every artwork is open to interpretation, and that Art, in a general sense, is meant to push us to question our feelings. This is profoundly true.

If I were to introduce Gen Z is the New Devil , and more broadly, everything I create , I would do so through the codes of perfumery: its notes de tête, notes de cœur, and notes de fond. A precise emanation of scents, sculpted in pursuit of a desired effect.

Les notes de tête highlight what is perceptible when you lightly scratch the surface of a Gen Z girl’s shell. Before metamorphosing into a modern young woman with her confident stride, matcha latte in hand, and favorite lip gloss ;  a young teenager cried, suffering from low self-esteem. And at the beginning, a little girl rebelled, for whom appearance was the least of her worries.

Les notes de cœur are the ones that capture our attention. Drawing from a raw aesthetic inspired by Basquiat, I wanted to convey a vivid intensity, as if these words had been written in a rush. Much like a phone number scribbled at the very last minute on the palm of a man's hand at the end of the night, just before running off to join your friends to go home. The urgency, ultimately, of not forgetting oneself. 

Les notes de fond form the skeleton, the very essence of our own transformation over the last twenty years. They are simultaneously the reflection of our most beautiful memories and our most unsightly scars. To ultimately allow these opposites to coexist, and authorize us to be fully ourselves.
